I've been using PowerArchiver 2006 for a few years now and I'm very impressed with its features. It's a great tool for optimizing data storage and transfer, allowing me to work with archives in various formats and to generate new containers, modify, remove, or otherwise alter the existing ones. It also allows me to easily change the compression of the items, and otherwise control the data. The interface is easy to use and the overall performance is great. Highly recommended!

PowerArchiver 2006 supports most compression file formats, such as RAR, ZIP, TAR, etc. The application also has its own command line, which allows you to do anything the application can do, but from the command line, which is great for use in servers. Great encryption security and a great shell integration make of PowerArchiver a great competitor in the race for the best archiver.
